KobyCo Door & Window. was founded on the premise that building a new home, or remodeling a current one doesn’t have to be a daunting task; and we are thoroughly dedicated to that statement. Our dedication began back in 1975, when a hard-headed second-year carpenter apprentice and his wife (Gary and Janice Kobylarz) recognized that there was plenty of room for improvement where home remodeling was concerned. Truly talented craftsmen were rare and hard to find; and most of the quality products were being snapped up by high-end developers.  The worst of it was that the remodeling and improvement trades were full of fly-by-night contractors who disappeared when problems appeared. Homeowners were being scammed and taken advantage of.

Gary Kobylarz recognized the need for quality workmanship and quality products designed for individual homeowners.

The seventies and eighties brought rising energy costs and with them also came the demand for energy-saving home remodeling products that also offered beauty and security. The Kobylarz’s solution to the energy problems was the founding of KobyCo Door & Window., which began with a line of custom-manufactured vinyl replacement windows  and steel entrance doors.

Their solution struck the right chord because it wasn’t long before Kobyco’s product lines expanded to include storm doors, ‘stain-able’ and ‘paint-able’ steel and fiberglass entry doors, vinyl-cladded wood windows  and retractable awnings. We also added a full line of factory-finished interior doors, trim and millwork to complement our exterior products.

Our laminate closet organizers solutions have expanded to include solutions for garage storage components, home office desk and storage units, pantry organizers and home entertainment centers.

Quality products require quality installation.  Problems such as voided warranties and product failure arise when installation isn’t done properly, To ensure that the installation of our products matched the quality of their construction, we hired and trained the most talented craftsmen available. We then bonded and insured them for total customer satisfaction.
